Cancellation and Refund Policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
This policy applies to services of MakeItOnline. Your rights differ depending on whether you order as a consumer (an individual acting outside business purposes) or as a business.
1. Consumers: 14-day right of withdrawal
If you order a service as a consumer at a distance (through the contact form or by email), you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days without giving a reason. This right comes from Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and the Lithuanian laws implementing it. The period runs from the day the contract is concluded. This policy and the information in the offer are the pre-contract information on the right of withdrawal.
To withdraw, tell us by a clear statement (through the contact form on this website). You may use the model form below, but you do not have to. It is enough to send the notice before the period expires.
2. If work has already started
We will start work during the 14-day period only on your express request (in writing, e.g. by replying to the offer by email). If you ask us to start, you accept that if you withdraw you must pay a proportionate amount for what has already been provided (calculated from the agreed price or, if that is disproportionate, from the market value). If we did not give you information on the right of withdrawal before the contract, you owe nothing for the service provided before withdrawal. Once the service has been fully performed, and you expressly agreed and acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal on full performance, you can no longer withdraw.
3. Refunds
If you withdraw lawfully, we refund amounts received no later than 14 days after we receive your notice, using the same payment method unless you agree otherwise. We deduct the proportionate amount for services already provided (section 2).
4. Business clients
The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to business clients. Termination and refunds are governed by the offer / contract. If we fail to perform the agreed service, or perform it defectively and do not fix it within a reasonable time, we refund the price paid for the unperformed or defective part. Work properly performed is not refundable.
5. Defective service
If a service does not conform to the contract, we will first correct it. Consumers' mandatory statutory rights in respect of non-conformity remain unaffected.
6. Third-party costs and advertising budget
Payments already made to third parties by you, or by us on your behalf (domain registration, licences, advertising platforms), are not refunded by us to business clients unless the third party refunds them. If a consumer withdraws, such costs incurred at their request form part of the proportionate amount under section 2, to the extent consistent with consumer rights. We will tell you about such payments in advance.
7. Model withdrawal form
